Work I do: consulting, projects and coaching for individuals and teams in the following areas:

  • Life Coaching: Helping people move forward on topics of life, work, and more. Certified Transformational Life Coach, Animas UK, December 2020.
  • Scrum Master: Certified Scrum Master, Scrum Master Alliance, October 2022. Blending this with coaching in Agile methodologies/values.
  • Projects: Smaller to medium scale projects on topics domestic, hospitality, art, administrative, technical, product.

Life Coaching, 2020 –

Working as an independent Life Coach I help clients move forward by:

  1. Creating structured and explorative 1:1 sessions to help clients name and navigate challenges, clarify realistic goals and start taking the next steps.
  2. Facilitate conversations to enable clients to reflect on their experiences, mindsets, self-awareness and decision making.
  3. Apply coaching techniques and exercises to help clients overcome distractions, build confidence and drive their own change.

Staffbase, September 2020 – March 2026 

Partnered closely with cross-functional product design teams to help them work well together and deliver, while navigating challenges, by:

  • Designing and facilitating workshops to evolve the use of Scrum in collaboration with Agile principles, to clarify roles and responsibilities and enable realistic estimation practices.
  • Coaching teams in group and 1:1 settings to improve mutual understanding and psychological safety. 
  • Using delivery metrics (Jira, GitHub) to guide reflection on bottlenecks and improve their collaboration, delivery and communication.

Partnered with Engineering Managers of teams to support their work driving teams to produce by:

  1. Facilitating individual and group session to help reflect on team challenges, share leadership practices and define and test improvements.
  2. Coaching managers to build better cross-team collaborations by balancing the needs of teams and the realities of the business, plus the need to shape and deliver feedback both upwards and downwards.

Collaborated with fellow Agile Coaches to strengthen internal capability and supporting change initiatives by:

  1. Leading peer coaching circles for mentoring and shaping change initiative projects.
  2. Scoping and leading projects to improve development lifecycle and satisfaction.
  3. Facilitating regular product reviews bringing teams and stakeholders together to showcase developments and exchange feedback.

teambay GmbH, 2015-2020

Product Development Consultant. Partnered with developers and stakeholders to evolve the teambay product platform by: 

  • Coaching the product team in Scrum and Agile collaboration practices.
  • Facilitating sessions with the team and stakeholders to define and evolve the product roadmap and align priorities.
  • Conducting internal and external quality assurance testing to ensure a reliable and consistent customer experience.
  • Collaborating with the team and customer-facing colleagues to maintain product quality standards and validating user experience improvements.

Monotype.com, 2013-2020

Foundry Support Team Consulting. Partnered with Foundry Relations Manager to enable the review and approval process of new font submissions by:

  • Establishing and evolving clear criteria for Acceptance/Rejection of new foundry submissions.
  • Writing support documentation for customers to prepare font products for submission.

P & T – Paper & Tea GmbH, Berlin. 2014-2015

Training and Quality Control Team. Educated the retail staff on tea products and conducted regular evaluation on new tea products by:

  • Delivered weekly trainings and tastings to retail staff, building their knowledge and shared language for customers.
  • Led preparation and sensory evaluation sessions of new tea products to build a varied and seasonal library of tea offerings for customers.
  • Designed and delivered custom trainings to cafe baristas and hospitality teams to align their environments and tea product offerings and establish preparation methods to deliver consistent customer experience.

FontShop International, San Francisco. 2005-2013

Product and Project Manager. Working with developers and stakeholders inside the company to evolve the FontShop.com platform and brand by:

  • Leading the production and distribution of email newsletters and marketing campaigns across digital and print channels.
  • Collaborating with developers and stakeholders on evolving the FontShop website, ensured regular QA testing and coordinated releases to ensure a reliable customer experience.
  • Co-directing the TYPO International Design Conference (600 attendees), managing vendor and venue partnerships, shaping programing and speaker relations and overseeing the budget.
